History

In 1997 Ashley school offered no-cost dialup to its local community as a way of saying thanks for passing a bond issue to improve the school buildings. The system was named BearNet which refers to the school mascot of Ashley Bears. Casair, Inc. designed, setup, configured and maintained the system during it's entire life while Ashley schools maintained billing and the day to day operations of the system.

In 2005 Ashley schools approached Casair about taking over billing and day to day operations of the systems. Casair accepted. In an effort to improve the system, Casair abandoned the original equipment as is running it a statewide system giving flexibility to the users. The email BearNet.net is used by the school but it being kept in use for dialin users.

Casair offers credit card billing and payment flex options. On April 23rd 2006 Casair turned up service on the new equipment.
