To maintain a positive, learning atmosphere I have certain classroom rules that I expect all of my students to follow at all times. In my years of teaching experience I have found that the violation of these minimum expectations results in mental confusion and the inability to accomplish necessary and required educational tasks expected of me by your parents, your school district and the State of Michigan.
RINGS—IF NOT,
YOU ARE TARDY. YOU ARE EXPECTED
TO BE ON TASK AND ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN THE LESSON AT ALL TIMES.
LARSEN—THE
BELL DOES NOT DISMISS CLASS.
CLASSROOM
ENVIRONMENT. BE POLITE TO AND RESPECT
OTHERS AT ALL TIMES. NO ONE
IS TO INTERFER WITH ANOTHERS LEARNING.

1. FIRST VIOLATION—Most likely will be handled by
Mr. Larsen (lunch detention).
2. SECOND VIOLATION—May be handled by Mr.
Larsen, but may be referred to the principal as per handbook rules.
3. THIRD (AND UP) VIOLATION—ALL will be referred
to the principal for disciplinary measures (as per the handbook).
Repeated and more
serious violations will start at a higher level.
*These
disciplinary actions are in effect and cumulative for the entire school year.
